Sharp Artisanclaims review for Chapter 13 counsel

Middle District of Florida: 28 days to object

M.D. Fla., Administrative Order FLMB-2025-1 (cases filed on or after 1 October 2025), ¶ 20: "Debtor must file objections to claims no later than 28 days after the deadline for filing proofs of claim", or 14 days after a creditor files an amended proof of claim. Read the order.

Local Rule 3007-1(a): "Objections to claims shall state the legal and factual basis for the objection and the amount of the debt conceded, if any." Objections to claims may be served on 30-day negative notice. Read the rule.

Cases filed before 1 October 2025 have the same 28 days under FLMB-2023-3 and FLMB-2018-2. For a governmental unit's claim, the 28 days run from the governmental bar date.
